Ms Williams at Blossoming Skills is a hidden treasure. She’s hard to find, but once you do, you won’t let that treasure go. I admire her hard work and determination she has while working with my son. My son learns differently, and it was hard to find someone like her. Miss Catherine provided a different approach to tutoring for 2 of my 3 kids. She customized a plan for both of my kids needs as their needs were very different. Having a daily multi-sensory plan for 12 weeks improved both of their skills in different ways and filled in gaps that they each had. I will be honest my kids didn’t want to do the work some days, but Miss Catherine helped by changing things a bit for each kid so the exercises were just right for them. If I had to do it all over again, I would. My 4th grader is reading at grade level and above and my High Schooler has learned strategies for comprehension with reading and has better handwriting from the dysgraphia as well. Since he’s an older high school student, she gave me strategies to help with writing papers for the future in the fall. I will add she’s very easy to work with and very patient.
